MG: Hi, glamorous! Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Hello lovelies, my name is Carolina, I am originally from Colombia but I live in Canada. I am an Early Childhood Educator and I’ve been working with children and families for over 20 years. Doing nail art is one of my hobbies.
MG: How did you become interested in Nail World?
I used to get my nails done at a salon every 2 weeks when I was living in Colombia, however I couldn’t afford that luxury when I moved to Canada, so I started to do my nails on my own.
MG: What inspires your work?
I usually get inspired by anything around me, patterns, trends, other Nail Artist’s work, and specific themes or celebrations.
MG: What is your favorite thing about being an artist?
That I can express myself through different canvases. I also love the fact that I can match my nails to my outfit or any of my interests.
MG:What else would you like people to know about what you do?
I have always had an interest in arts and crafts. Recently I also joined the world of lettering. I love learning new things.
MG: What is your favorite Madam Glam collection or product?
My favorite collection is “Ho, Ho, Holo!” My favourite gel color is Meet Me Halfway and I also love the Velvet Matte Top Coat.
MG: Describe yourself using 3 emojis.

MG: Who would be your celebrity-dream client? Why?
I never thought of this. I think I will pick Katy Perry because her album covers have a lot of color and I believe they will be great inspiration for Nail Art.
MG: Is there a Nail Trend you wish would go away?
The nail piercing trend!
MG: What changes would you like to see happen both within your industry and the world you live in today?
I would like to see people respecting each other and being kind to one another.
MG: How do you hope to see your career grow in the next 3-5 years?
Since this is my hobby, I don’t really have any expectations, however I would like to expand my knowledge in other techniques, and I would love to create my own press-on nails for others to enjoy.
MG: What advice would you give to an aspiring Nail Artist?
A lot of practice, patience and having fun doing what you love!
