Join Us for the 2024 Tell Cancer to Go #TakeAHike Event!

On October 19th  2024, join thousands of individuals across the U.S. and around the world for the annual Tell Cancer to Go #TakeAHike event! This inspiring initiative, started by a young breast cancer survivor in 2017, aims to empower those diagnosed with breast cancer and their families from day one and beyond. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.

Why Participate?

This event encourages participants to enjoy the great outdoors while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. Whether you choose to embark on a solo hike or gather your friends, family, and neighbors for a group hike, the goal is simple: spend time outdoors and show your support. If hiking isn’t your thing, feel free to take a leisurely walk, stroll, or even hop on your scooter—whatever works for you!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Start a Team: Click the "Join/Start a Team" button on the event page. You will be prompted to set up your profile and create your team's fundraising page.
2. Join an Existing Team: If you prefer to join a pre-existing team, click the same button, set up your profile, and select the team you wish to join.
3. Make a Donation: If you want to support someone participating in the event, click "Donate to a Team" in the top right-hand corner of the page. You can donate to a specific team or individual!

CAN’T HIKE? LET’S PAINT THE WORLD PINK!

In conjunction with this event, we encourage everyone to paint their nails pink on October 19th. Share your pink manicures on social media using the hashtag #TakeAHike to raise awareness and inspire others to join in!

At Madam Glam, we are proud to donate $1 for every pink gel polish sold from Think Pink Collection during October to the Surviving Breast Cancer (SBC) organization, helping to further their mission of empowerment and support.

This October, let’s unite to tell cancer to go #TakeAHike! By participating in this event and painting our nails pink, we can create a wave of awareness and support that resonates globally.
