MG: Please tell us a bit about yourself, so we can get to know you!
My name is Karina, I’m 24 and live in LA! I enjoy going to the beach, sightseeing, and shopping! 

MG: Tell us how you found your way into Nail World?
Since I was younger I always enjoyed doing nails. I always had fresh manicured hands from my favorite polish brands from Target. As I got older I was given a gel curing lamp and slowly began developing a deeper love for doing nails. 

MG: What inspired you to start an Instagram Account? 
Many of my friends and family encouraged me to start an Instagram, so I can begin to post my work and let others enjoy and be inspired by the art I created. 

MG: What is your design process for creating cool manicures? What are the most important steps?
My design process has a lot to do with the shape and length of nails. Once that is determined my clients and I decide what colors and designs would look best based on their personalities and likes!

MG: If you were to choose between complex hand-painted Nail Art and a regular manicure, what would you pick?
Complex hand-painted Nail Art for sure! I love working with gel polish and a tiny brush, that is when I feel my most creative and confident! 

MG: What are the top Nail Trends this season, and what do you predict for the next one?
The top Nail Trends at the moment would have to be the summer swirls and the fall snake/croc prints. I think the upcoming trend with me is 3D Nail Art for Fall!

MG: What inspires you more when it comes to Nail Aesthetics?
I am always inspired by other women in the nail industry being their own bosses while having an immense passion for their art!

MG: Who would be your dream-celebrity client? Why?
My dream celebrity client would be Youtuber Desi Perkins or Amanda Diaz, both are inspirational, hardworking women who have worked so hard to be where they are today!

MG: How do you hope to see your career grow in the next 3-5 years?
I hope to see my career grow alongside other women in the beauty industry. I’d love to open a salon where others can receive different beauty services including nails! 

MG: What advice would you give to an aspiring Nail Artist?
My advice would be to trust the process! Practice makes perfect and everything good comes with time! Be true to yourself and never give up on a good dream.
