Before she discovered her love for the Nail World, Marisa was a florist, her creativity turned her into a pro at making florals and complicated designs! When she's not doing nails, she loves to cuddle with her dog, bake cakes and to spend her time gardening! Let's read more and discover her story!
MG: Hi! Please tell us a bit about yourself, so we can get to know you!
Hi, My name is Marisa, I am Australian with an Italian background, which is where the name Geloso (which means jealous in Italian) was inspired from! The spelling was perfect since I love gel polish so much!
MG: What is one professional goal you have for yourself?
To be creative, inspiring & to keep learning and trying nail art techniques that are out of my comfort zone.
MG: Describe a day in your life! Do you have any other hobbies besides doing nails?
I’m a very creative person & have lots of hobbies or things I’m willing to try! I am actually a qualified florist, but I have a range of things I love, from gardening, to cake baking to aquarium/fish keeping! But my number 1 hobby is cuddling my dogs.
MG: Tell us how or when did you discover your passion for nails?
I started painting my nails as a teen, but it wasn’t until I discovered gel polish that the real passion began! I started to get more creative & try nail art. Gel polish made this easy as if I made a mistake, I could simply remove that part while leaving the rest of the design perfect without having to start again.
MG: What is your favorite Madam Glam product?
Right now I am obsessed with the Silver Chrome Gel Paint! It’s so beautiful & easy to use! To me, it’s a must have for any nail tech or nail enthusiast.
MG: If you were to choose between complex hand-painted Nail Art and a regular manicure, what would you pick?
Nail Art! I love adding something a little extra to my nails.
MG: What inspires you when creating your Nail Art designs?
I find inspiration in many ways, from fellow nail artists to patterns & designs I see on everyday items.
MG: Who would be your dream-celebrity client?
Zendaya - she’s stunning, but she seems really down to earth, fun & friendly.

MG: Do you have any tips or advice to share with our community?
Kindness goes a long way! Compliment, encourage, motivate, inspire & support others! Don’t be afraid to ask questions or for advice, learning never ends. I have met some amazing people & made some great friends from around the world through the nail community and I love it.
