WE BELIEVE THAT SHINY IS GOOD, BUT SPARKLY IS EVEN BETTER!  

If you’ve followed any sort of social media trends recently, you’ve probably heard at least a little bit about holographic nails. From runway models, to beauty bloggers, to Fashion Week, it seems like pretty much everyone is rocking this dazzling, sparkly look.  

Holographic nails are very popular, but you don’t have to break the bank (or a nail...hihi) to get this shimmering, glittery, unicorn style for yourself. With this super easy and fun DYI at home tutorial, you will find the perfect nail art design that fits the unique, cool and creative style of the nail addict in you! 💿 

We've teamed up once again with our amazing Laura to create a simple, yet bold nail design you can rock on this summer.

LET'S GET IT STARTED! 

PREP YOUR NAILS: File, shape your nails and push back your cuticles. After these steps, you have to remove the shine from the top of your nails, because it will help the gel to adhere. For this step, you can use alcohol- again this will help the polish stick and last as long as possible. This will also remove the dust and any other excess on your nails!   

BASE COAT: Apply one layer of peel of base coat or regular base coat gel as close to the edges as possible! Please, try to avoid your cuticles or skin. Don’t forget to cap the free edge. Once you’re done with this, you can cure it under the led lamp for 1 minute.   

GEL COLOR: Choose your favorite gel color. Here, Laura chose one of our best sellers- Rosy Nude. Go ahead and apply two coats of gel color. Don't attempt a full coverage application on the first layer because the polish might not cure well! Apply two coats of “Rosy Nude” and make sure to cure them in between! 

***If you do get gel polish on your skin, then make sure that you remove it before you cure! 

NO WIPE TOP COAT: Before we move on to the chrome powder, you have to apply one thin layer of our No Wipe Top coat gel and cure it under the lamp! 

CHROME POWDER: Choose your favorite chrome powder. Here we have “Musca”. This holographic powder has iridescent pigments, which reflect rainbow hues when struck by light. 

OMBRE IT OUT: You don’t need a lot of powder! Dab the brush lightly into the powder container and gently tap it on the top part of your nails. 

TOP COAT:  Once you’re done with the chrome powder, it’s time to seal off everything and give your nails a nice final touch by applying a thin layer of our top coat gel polish. One last time, cure your nails under the lamp!  

FINAL TOUCHES & CUTICLE OIL: Using a paper towel and a little bit of alcohol, wipe-off the excess. This procedure will help you prevent the dust and other small particles to destroy your manicure and will also help your nails look beautiful as much as possible.  

Last step, spoil your cuticles and apply some drops of cuticle oil. 

Ta-da! Now you have the sparkliest, shiniest nails in the Universe! ✨
